TEC modules, also called
Peltier modules, are widely applied in temperature regulating systems. When standard TECs are exposed to thermal cycling, they will have shorter service life since it's hard to bear thermal impacts.
We just developed TECs especially for thermal cycling applications. These TECs have longer operational life than standard TECs. ATE1-TC-127 series TECs are designed in this purpose. These TECs have 127 pairs of Peltier elements, with a maximum voltage from 16.2~17.5V, and temperature difference from 72°C~ 74.5°C.
When a TEC is used in temperature cycling application, it is exposed to physical stresses when it changes from heating to cooling, which could reduce the service life of a standard TEC largely. For ATE1-TC-127 series TECs, they can stand severe thermal impact and work well in such applications.
There are sealed and non-sealed versions. It's recommended to use sealed TEC in an environment with high humidity in order to keep long life time and reliability.
