Temperature drift is also called zero drift, which refers to the variation of the parameters of semiconductor device caused by temperature change. A high performance NTC thermistors should come with low short term and long term drifts in the R-T relationship, the resistance vs. the temperature, which will achieve high system performance.
The ATH10KL2C is an NTC thermistor assembly with a glass encapsulated thermistor in a compact ring lug. Comparing with conventional epoxy encapsulated thermistors, ATH10KL2C has much lower short and long term drifts, higher reliability, and wider operating temperature range. Moreover, this NTC thermistor has a compact size and short response time. The lug ring simplifies the mounting process of this NTC thermistors.
ATH10KL2C differs from ATH10KL2A and ATH10KL2B in terms of the ring size and the resistance temperature characteristics. ATH10KL2B and ATH10KLC have the same resistance temperature characteristics since the thermistor head inside the ring lugs is ATH10K1R25, while the thermistor head in ATH10KL2A is the same as ATH10KR8.
