The
ATH100KL2C is a capped
ntc thermistor. There is a glass encapsulated thermistor head packaged in a compact ring lug of this ntc thermistor.
The ATH100KL2C series thermistor has three versions, ATH100KL2C, ATH100KL2CT70 and ATH100KL2CT70S. The ATH100KL2C is the basic version with two bear leads coated with copper; the ATH100KL2CT70S is the updated version with two leads covered by high temperature plastic tubing and sealed by epoxy; ATH100KL2CT70 is the non-sealed version of ATH100KL2CT70S. These three versions fit for different applications.
Comparing with traditional epoxy encapsulated thermistors, ATH100KL2C series thermistors present higher long term stability, higher reliability and wider temperature range. Small size and short response time are also the features of this ntc thermistors.
We have two similar series of ntc thermistors,
ATH100KL2A and
ATH100KL2B. There are some differences among them. First, the lug ring sizes are different. Second, the thermistor head in ATH100KL2A is ATH10KR8, while the thermistor heads in ATH100KL2B and ATH100KL2C are the same, ATH100K1R25. Therefore, the resistance temperature characteristics in ATH100KL2B and ATH100KL2C are the same, but different from ATH100KL2A.
