NTC thermistors are more and more popular in many applications that need temperature control or measurement. ATI released several series of ntc thermistors including
ATH10KR8B,
ATH10KL2A,
ATH10K1R25 and
ATH100KR8 series. ATH100KR8 series ntc thermistors are mainly introduced here.
The ATH100KR8 is a glass encapsulated ntc thermistor with high precision and stability. ATH100KR8 features higher long term stability, smaller size, shorter response time, and wider temperature range when comparing with conventional epoxy encapsulated thermistors. There are three types in this ntc thermistor series: ATH100KR8, ATH100KR8T63 and ATH100KR8T63S. The first one is basic version of this series with bear leads. The second one is with leads covered by plastic tubing, and the last one has the thermistor head and the tubing sealed between. Users can select a proper one based on the applications. The sealed one is liquid resistant.
