LDA1-CP2 is an electric module, which is designed by
ATI to drive N type laser diodes. This
laser driver can control and monitor the driving current and the output laser power well. The LDA1-CP2 laser driver comes with PWM output stage and the efficiency can be up to 90%, so there is no need of
heat sinks. It is very convenient for users to use and carry. Figure 1 is the physical photo of the LDA1-CP2 laser driver.

Users can set the output current and the laser power through two independent voltages of the laser driver, and at the same time, they can be detected linearly by the respective output voltage. In addition, the laser driver comes with a 2.5V reference voltage with high stability and low noise, which can be used to set the output current and output power and can also be used as the external ADC and DAC reference voltage.
