TEC5V4A-D Peltier controller is a high efficiency TEC controller with high stability and low noise. This TEC controller is designed and used to drive thermoelectric coolers for regulating the temperature of the target object precisely.
The maximum output current of this TEC controller is 4A, as indicated in the part number. The maximum output voltage is VPS-0.2V. This Peltier controller can monitor the actual object temperature. It provides multiple functions, such as temperature measurement and monitoring, thermistor temperature and resistance curve linearization, temperature control loop status indication, power up delay, and shutdown. This Peltier controller doesn't come with an internal compensation network, which is also not recommended using. The compensation network is made of 3 resistors and 2 capacitors. External compensation network is highly recommended since it can be changed to drive different thermal load when the thermal load characteristics is not fixed at the early design stage.
This Peltier controller can work with our Peltier module, thermistor, and heat sink, etc to build a precise temperature control and measurement system.
