ATH10KL2A is a typical ntc capped thermistor.
The ATH10KL2A is a capped ntc thermistor with a thermistor head packaged in a small ring lug. This thermistor head is the same as ATH10KR8, so the characteristics of both of ntc thermistors are similar. ATH10KR8 is a glass encapsulated ntc thermistor.
The ATH10KL2A series thermistor consists of three versions, ATH10KL2A, ATH10KL2AT63 and ATH10KL2AT63S. ATH10KL2AT63S has the leads covered by high temperature plastic tubing and sealed by epoxy; ATH10KL2AT63 is the non-sealed version; ATH10KL2A has bear leads without any tubing. The sealed ntc thermistor can be used in liquid, while unsealed one presents relatively higher long term stability and reliability. Different applications require different ntc thermistors.
